the ambition
I have always been a fan of waldo, as they transatlantically call him, "wally". When we found this hat in Camden about a year ago, it was a must purchase for obvious reasons. However, I never thought it would travel the lengths it has, with so many people. "The hat" has been all over. The collection of photos continues to build and I figure I might as well do something with this file on my desktop, so here is a really random blog for any who are bored, and hopefully interested. The striped hat is in every photo.
For a long time now I have had an aspiration, to create a real life "where is .....?" book. I am searching and contemplating for a character to become this figure who travels around and is spotted, searched for... This blog exemplifies how serious this ridiculous, but sincere, ambition really is. The endeavor will take many to accomplish, all are welcome to be a part. I have constantly been collecting costumes and noting spots where to shoot . This site will grow with "the hat", and will be updated with progressions on the grand endeavor. This is one of those step by step projects, but I assure you this book will be made. Any thoughts are encouraged. Cheers.
And, for the record I would never want to take anything away from Where's Waldo, if anything I hope to promote it, it is brilliant.
